This book leaves me feeling hollow and sad. ...because below:
Spoilers: He often goes back to talk to the girl to find out what went wrong, but then gets too insecure to ask "what happened?" He assumes they don't / didn't like him so he doesn't even take the shot or make the ask. He still has self-esteem / confidence problems.
He is often too little too late.
My takeaway from this book is ASK!!!! Ask for what you want or you will be full of regret with your d*ck in your hand.
This book is a page turner and easy read. I heard about it on NPR and it's listed in the teen / young adult section at bookstores.
